Eva Alexander chose this refined tropical weight wool for its crisp draping quality and silky smooth finish. We've made subtle updates to the traditional wool fibre to make it new and modern by blending it with caprolacton for a silky smooth finish, crease resistance, and increased shape retention. We also added a touch of elastane for comfort and ease. A luxurious year-round classic but modern fabric that is the foundation of our suiting pieces.

Lining: 100% Acetate

The Tailored Maternity Pencil Skirt has a sleek classic silhouette. Standard waistband with hidden side expansion system. Inside front support panel provides contour. When washing wool garments use a mild detergent and gentle cycle. Hang wool garments on a proper hanger to air dry in a well ventilated room or closet. Remember, wool shrinks and dulls at high temperatures so always use care to only apply medium heat.

The Best Maternity Skirt Review by Sue: This was the best maternity skirt that I bought. It was perfect because unlike a majority of maternity skirts out there, it was designed to expand with my bump as my bump grew. I know this sounds ridiculous, but finding a good quality, well designed maternity skirt that can be worn in a professional environment is difficult. Of the three I bought, this was the only one that actually made it beyond the 7th month and fortunately through to full term. Eva Alexander's maternity skirt ticked all the boxes. Stylish Professional Maternity Skirt Review by Lisa: This maternity skirt became a key piece during my maternity. Well designed, I was able to wear this skirt throughout my maternity. The waistband ensured that I always looked professional and since it was adjustable I could wear the entire 9 months! Excellent quality, good fabric and looks great with both of Eva Alexander's maternity jackets, but I preferred the wrap tie jacket because it had a more feminine stylish look to it.
